Answer

Hi,brbrI had exactly the same problem as you, and I managed to transfer everything form my ipod to my new computer without the use of a programme.brbrYOU DO NOT NEED TO DOWNLOAD ANYTHING TO HELP YOU.brbrIt is a very easy and simple processbrbr. Plug in your ipod to the new computer.br. Open up My Computer and click on your ipod.br. When it opens it will not have all the folders there, the crucial one is hidden, so you need to click on Folder Options, and then on the View tab and then you need to tick the box that says Show Hidden folders.br. A new folder will appear called Ipod Controls, copy and paste that folder to another place on your PC this is very importantbr. In the new copy of the folder Ipod Controls, open the folder Music.br. The folder contains lots of folders labelled F, F, F. etc. Each of these folders contain files with names like AHIP, KFTX. These files are your songs, audiobooks, films, etc. For each folder F, F, etc. highlight all the files and drag them to your itunes library where they will copy themselves.br. When you have copied all the folders, sync your ipod to your new itunes, and if you have copied them carefully they should all be there.brbrI hope this works for you, it worked perfectly for me and I also have Windows although I dont think it makes a difference.brbrGood Luck!
